Walking is good. Can't go anywhere your own two feet can't take you.
The train is good if you are in a hurry though. It's much faster and you don't need to feed horses.

It usually runs on a coal engine, at least where I'm from. Like a furnace.
I don't know if things are different here. The shape is a little different.
