He wrote me to tell me he'd use it on whoever was afflicted, if we didn't catch them. [which he wouldn't really need their communication for, since he'd just know from the victim.] Though I suspect he has other things he'd like to use it for.
I really only brought it up to try to hammer home how reckless it would be to let Marcoh murder someone. It seemed very unlikely it would ever come up.

I think half of us had a plan in place to stop him if he tried anything, in any case. Even if the man was perfectly willing to die for his pound of flesh, and will likely resent us for it later. Better that than the alternative.
