[suddenly i realize i somehow deleted my notif for our tuesday thread RUNS TO TAG THAT BACK IN A BIT

after the party, maomao can find mizu calmly holding a very relaxed looking chao upside down. like, you know, this. the little guy does not seem to mind this at all.]

[ maomao has her green, also relaxed, chaochao trailing behind her. pausing to just watch mizu with their critter for a moment. ]

Strange creatures, aren't they?

They are rather odd and don't look like they should have come from an egg.

[ it's such a weird concept to think that they may actually be their souls ]

Yes. I would've expected a bird hatching from these eggs, if anything. Not this... thing.

[why are their souls so squishy]

This could be their duckling stage. They may grow bigger in the time we're here.

They do seem able to keep themselves occupied.

Bigger? [a pause, like mizu hadn't considered that at all. oh, no.] As if they weren't enough trouble at their current size...

[still being held upside down, mizu's chao whips out... a pair of maracas! shakey shakey tap tap orchestra.]
