Since the people I was to initially meet were her allies, I assumed she would not send anyone else after me. My dear friends of that mercenary group welcomed me wholeheartedly, but... at the end of that week, she sent someone else to recover me after an assassination attempt, claiming it too dangerous for me to be out, and thus, I returned to my cage.

I died a few weeks later in the palace, after a series of unfortunate events involving rebels that broke in while Lady Caris was away.
