When I spoke to God, they told me of a being who, according to stories, stands in opposition to them. Indeed, they spoke of Satan. But they said they have never met Satan... If they truly are a new god, perhaps that is why.
God suggested that the Entity may be connected to Satan. That Satan may be their... [ "babysitter"? ] steward, or something of the sort... but because Satan has been [ drunk? ] derelict in their attentions, the Entity was left free to lash out unsupervised.
I asked if we might negotiate with this being, and they said they may be able to make this happen, but we should be in agreement on the matter. I realize not all of us are here now, but... would anyone object to parleying with Satan, if given the opportunity? Or even with the Entity, should it be located?
I don't see why we shouldn't. Of course there's all the cautionary tales, silver-tongued devils and lying and cheating, selling your soul away, yadda yadda yadda.
But that was the understand we had of the devil on Earth. Nothing about heaven happened to be true, so why should we take the shit about Satan and hell itself for granted?

I suppose it's the easiest word to throw at a type of people you don't like. Until you start getting specific about it, but then we're getting into terms I don't dare repeat.
In our world it's the ones with horns who are at the top of society runnin' everything and keepin' people like us and Eupha at the bottom. Different sort of horns, mostly, but still.
There are various peoples who are called that as well, though we also do have literal devils running about.
They are not the sort I would recommend bargaining with. However, if we are seeking information only, and agree we will not enter into any contracts, I'm not opposed to trying.
