If I had to guess? Somewhere far the hell away from here in another part of heaven. Probably on vacation.

How is a new god chosen? Did the old one get a say in it?

The old god picked the new god themselves. I don't think anybody else really had a say in it.

So it was someone they knew and trusted?

I don't think I'd go that far. It wasn't like a nepotism hire, but they seemed to think the new god was the way they wanted to go.

And what did you think of the new god?

I don't think they were right for the job initially. They're doing better now and they're still dedicated to what they set out to do, but... I don't know. We don't always see eye to eye, and we don't talk much. I get most of my information from the girls.

I'm a little surprised to hear that... What sort of matters did you not agree on?

Our approaches to things, mostly. [ ... ] I don't resent them. I also just don't know how to feel about them most of the time, but I'm not going to abandon the project halfway through either.
