I was impatient by then because it'd been years of not getting answered. Why would I let them get away? Even if I never expected God to be an axolotl. But that was... a while now. Almost nine months ago? If you're counting our time here. God found me and told me about this project, I asked for my part in it, and then I found out God was retiring and appointing a new God not long after that.
Pretty much like my whole life, yeah. I grew up being told that if I prayed to God they'd listen but obviously that didn't pan out. Otherwise things would have been a lot better.
Yeah, that's organised religion for you. Keep people from actually fightin' back against the system responsible for their suffering by tellin' them all they've got to do is pray and pay their tithes and God'll take care of it.

Here it feels less like that even though axogodtl bibles exist. Not that it makes it better because things are still dependent on a god, but you know. This one sounds a little more responsive than the last one at least. For better or worse.
